The setting for the 3rd Annual Runway for a Cure Houston event was at Proof Bar in Midtown with a completely packed house. Each year, Omar Mejia throws this event to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a fashion show and fun party where 100% of the proceeds go to LLS. Featured designers were Isrel Fonseca, Paola Contreras, Stacks of Racks, Danny Nguyen Couture and Jose Reyes. A big thank you to Omar and the event sponsors for seating me in the blogger section where we sipped and danced while watching the show in perfect Houston weather.

So this is pretty exciting news…A 16,500 sq foot Topshop and Topman will be making it’s way to The Galleria in Spring 2015. This along with the announcement of the second largest flagship Topshop/Topman in the world that will be opening this fall on 5th Avenue in NYC. You have a year to get your wallets ready…
Yes…another collaboration and this is the first one where we actually have an H&M in Houston (finally!) I love Isabel Marants collections – she is the queen of effortlessly chic and I so want to master that. I’ll admit I wasn’t too excited at first thinking it would be disappointing like some of the other collaborations, but then I saw the boots and I need to have them. I have narrowed it down to my top 4 must have pieces – while there are so many great pieces she designed – these are the ones that I can absolutely not live without. Click here to see more of the collection. Will you be waiting in line or skipping out on this collab?

Kate Spade Saturday has officially opened in Houston. The new store is set in the perfect location in Rice Village Shopping Center, where nearby stores include Urban Outfitters and Gap. Saturday has everything from jewelry to housewares neatly organized and color coordinated throughout the store. I love stores like this…so easy to browse and shop.
The Weekender customization station, where you can design and customize your own Kate Spade Saturday Weekender bag, also a great place for the boyfriend to hang out while I shop.
